GINGER SPICE COOKIES

I just got back from a trip to NYC and while there, went to a popular bakery called @citycakes . My friends and I ordered several cookies, tried them (all yummy!), and decided that the ginger spice cookie was the best. So good. So soft. And so CHEWY! I needed more of just that cookie but with our trip itinerary, making it back there wasn’t going to happen. The day we got home, my friend @kfarrer06  found an awesome recipe, made them, and brought some to me (maybe she was tired of hearing me whine about how I wanted more). Her recipe is MONEY! So good. Even Jake who doesn’t love molasses/ginger spice cookies said that this was the best cookie ever. I made them again ASAP. Home run! I hope you all love them just as much as I do!

GARLIC KNOTS

These are insanely good! So soft with such savory flavor. And I like how they are totally adaptable. They can be formed into knots, rolls, or breadsticks. You can tweak the amount of seasonings to your taste. (Are you a garlic lover or a garlic avoider?) I took these recently to a church dinner and they literally didn’t even make it onto the buffet table because people were taking them from my tray before they could get there! Huge crowd pleaser!

CHEESY CHICKEN BAKED BURRITOS

As a foodie, I would probably never advertise recipes that call for canned chicken! It’s not that I’m above canned chicken- it’s just that it’s usually a last resort for when you’re out of time. But here’s the thing; We’re all out of time sometimes, and life happens, and it’s great to have something decent to feed our families in just a few minutes. Enter canned chicken! I learned that if you add enough taco seasoning to the chicken, then it’s actually pretty yum! And in these burritos, baked in a crispy tortilla with a cheesy filling, it’s downright delicious and I am pretty sure you AND your kids will love it!

These Insanely addicting Pecan Pie bars are such a good dessert option for Thanksgiving! Not to mention they are so much easier to make than pie! Jake ate one, then said, “these are like crack cocaine and I need another!”. They are so dang good. Someone take my fork away!
