Grease a 9x13 inch pan, fill it with cubes of bread, combine wet ingredients and the sugar, then pour over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. (It’s not a big deal if you skip this step and just let it soak for a few minutes before you bake it)
In the morning, top with crumb toppings.
Combine flour, cinnamon, and sugar and sprinkle it on top of the casserole. Then drop the butter pieces on top. *optional, sprinkle with frozen blueberries.
Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes or until golden. Serve with whipped cream and fresh berries. No syrup needed.
