You wouldn't just eat plain onions... until you try pickled onions and you can't stop! These are sweet, tangy, and delish! Try them on tacos, sandwiches, salads, or just plain!

Ingredients

red onion

cup
hot water
1/2
cup
apple cider vinegar

sugar
1 1/2
tsp
salt
a few peppercorns

Instructions
Slice the onion and put into a jar.
Add the rest of the ingredients, seal the jar, and shake the lid to mix.
Refrigerate. It only takes 30 minutes for them to pickle. They last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
