Pudding
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla. optional
Whipped Cream
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla

Pudding
In a medium-sized saucepan, combine milk, egg yolks, sugar, corn starch, and salt.
Whisk together and cook over medium heat. Stirring often for about 10-12 minutes.
When pudding has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon, remove from heat and transfer to a glass dish.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap or a large plate.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or until it has completely cooled and thickened.
Whipped Cream
Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat heavy whipping cream on high speed for a few minutes or until stiff peaks start to form.
Add vanilla and powdered sugar and give it a quick mix.
