- 3 sticks softened butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 4 tsp baking soda
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
Prevent your screen from going dark
Cream together butter and sugars for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and molasses. Mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients, then add to wet ingredients mixing well.
Roll dough into balls and chill for an hour.
Roll balls in sugar and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350° F for 9-10 minutes or until cracked on top.
