A few years ago, our then home-teacher brought us a plate of these and I about died at how yummy, soft, and chewy they were! My neighbor Brittany gave me her recipe, which I have adapted. We love them!

Do you use unsalted or salted butter?

Meagan. Hi, I use salted:)
I’ve made these twice now and they are delicious. But, I’ve had to add two extra cups of flour just to get them into a ball shape. The dough is extremely runny at 4-4 1/3 cups flour. I’m in a high humidity area, so maybe that’s why. It doesn’t seem to affect the cookie. Everyone loves them.
Thanks for the feedback, Renee!
