Preheat the oven to 350 º.F
Combine the melted butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla, and maple syrup in a large mixing bowl.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the bowl. Stir to combine.
Scoop the batter into greased or lined muffin pans. Fill each muffin 2/3 way full. Add 10-12 chocolate chips on the top of each muffin.
Bake for 17-20 minutes. Enjoy!
