Ingredients

  • 1 rack meaty pork back ribs

Rib Rub

  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons mustard

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup bbq sauce plus more bbq sauce to top once it’s done

Instructions

  • Get a rack of meaty pork back ribs.
  • Criss cross some aluminum foil and set the ribs down in the middle.
  • Remove the membrane from the boney side.
  • Spread mustard onto both sides of ribs. Rub it in.
  • Spread all of the seasoning mixture to both sides of the ribs. Rub it in.
  • Wrap it in foil tightly. Then wrap it again. Place it on a baking sheet and bake at 275 degrees for 2.5-3 hours.
  • Unwrap the ribs, brush on the sauce onto both sides and put them back into the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Add a little more bbq sauce to the top and enjoy!
