Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup butter softened to room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs room temperature
- 1 10 oz bag white chocolate melting wafers
- crushed peppermint candy canes
Instructions
- In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugars together. Add eggs, and beat again. Add dry ingredients and mix well.Roll into balls, and chill, covered with plastic wrap for at least one hour or overnight. (I know.... this is the hard part!) Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. Melt white chocolate wafers according to package directions in a bowl.Layout some parchment paper, then dip cookies halfway with eh white chocolate, then top with crushed candy canes, and lay to set up on the parchment paper, about 10 - 20 minutes.
