I couldn’t decide if I should name this a “sauce” or a “marinade” or a “dressing” because this stuff is so good you can use it for anything! It’s delicious on chicken, steak, potatoes, nachos, plain white rice, salad and that’s just the beginning of the list. It adds the perfect punch of flavor!

Ingredients
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 cup cilantro chopped
- juice of one lime
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup avocado oil
Instructions
- Rough chop the jalapeño (remove seeds if you don't like any heat, or remove 1/2 the seeds if you like a little kick but don't generally like your mouth to feel like it's on fire).
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse on high until there are no longer any big chunks.
Notes
*If you are using this asa salad dressing, I recommend diluting it with equal parts sour cream. This tones down the heat and just makes it...creamier.:)
*Chill any leftovers and save for up to a week in the fridge.
