These candied pecans are SO ADDICTING!! They are yummy as a snack, in a salad, on ice cream…the possibilities are endless! You might need to make a double batch because every time I make them, half of them mysteriously disappear!
These candied pecans are SO ADDICTING!! They are yummy as a snack, in a salad, on ice cream…the possibilities are endless! You might need to make a double batch because every time I make them, half of them mysteriously disappear!
I used to always make these on the stove, which meant a high likelihood that I would burn them if not constantly stirring. So, when I learned about this microwave method, my mind was blown! FOOLPROOF!
Glazed Pecans
The possibilities for these pecans are endless. They are good in a salad, on ice cream, or just as a snack! And so addicting. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 T butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 T water
- 3 cups pecans
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
- To the butter, add the brown sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water. Stir well. Microwave for one minute.
- Add the pecans, mix well, and microwave for one minute. Repeat this step 3 more times.
- Spread pecans evenly in a single layer on some parchment paper.
- Let cool for at least one hour and then enjoy!
