HAWAIIAN TRAIL MIX

After saving for a couple of years, and thanks to some ridiculously cheap airfare, we are taking the kids on a long-awaited trip to Hawaii. It’s not every day (or 1000 days) that we have an adventure like this, so to say I am thrilled is an understatement!! I happen to be sitting on a plane to Maui as I write this and I figured there was no better time to tell you about this Hawaiian trail mix that I adapted from @healthyhappyhome. I’ll be honest- I’ve never been a huge fan of traditional trail mix (raisins = 🤢) unless it counts that I usually just pick out all the M&M’s. But I am SO on board with this Hawaiian version! It’s so addicting and yummy! I LOVE macadamia nuts and coconut chunks together. So good. I hope you love it!

Hawaiian Trail Mix

Possibly the best trail mix every! I love the macadamia nuts and coconut chunks together. Hope you love it!

Ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • salted macadamia nuts (I used an entire bag of Trader Joe's)
  • coconut cashews (I used 1/2 a bag from Trader's Joe's but Walmart has one as well)
  • roasted coconut chunks (also a whole bag from Trader Joe's)
  • white chocolate chips, about 1 cup (or more if you have kids like mine that will pick them out)
  • dried pineapple chunks optional
  • dried sweetened banana chunks optional
  • golden raisins optional
  • any other nuts or dried fruit that you like optional
