Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

Salad
  • spinach
  • apples diced
  • parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • nuts sliced almonds or other nuts
  • cooked bacon
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup oil (I use avocado oil because it has a very mild taste)
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar but red wine or white vinegar works too)
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar
  • 1/8 red onion sliced
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard powder
  • 1 T warm water

Method
 

  1. Put salad ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Blend dressing ingredients on high in a good blender. 
  3. Dress the salad with it, then the leftover dressing is good in the fridge for up to three weeks!
