The food this time of year can be a tad on the rich side. This simple fruit salad with honey-mint-lime dressing is a perfect side dish to make for any holiday party, or even just for a regular Tuesday! It’s light and refreshing and can pass for a healthy side or as an alternative to dessert. The dressing upgrades the basic bowl of fruit and makes it even more fantastic and tasty!
Any fruit or berries will do. But I like to use:
- Cubed Pineapple
- Halved seedless grapes
- Diced apples
- Cutie orange, or canned mandarin oranges
- Pomegranate seeds (especially in the wintertime!)
- Sliced Kiwi
Other fruit ideas are sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, mangos, peaches, cantaloupe, blackberries, or raspberries.
