My sister-in-law brought this magical, fluffy, and absolutely divine Cinnamon Honey Butter to a family wedding shower. I hunted her down and made her tell me precisely how she made it! I made it for my family the next day, and my husband called it “heaven on earth honey butter!”
This Cinnamon Honey Butter is so simple to make but elevates any bread or roll. I spread this all over a massively overproofed loaf that I made the other day and it was absolutely delicious.
If you’re a bread baker, make it special once in a while by making this heaven on earth Cinnamon Honey Butter. It’s such a fun treat. If you bring it to a dinner party everyone will be flocking to you for the recipe.

Ingredients for Cinnamon Honey Butter
Here’s what you’ll need for this recipe.
Butter
I prefer to use salted butter for this recipe. If you only have unsalted butter, feel free to add a pinch of fine sea salt.
Honey
Honey is the key ingredient in this recipe, and is what gives this butter its sweetness. If you’re looking for a fun twist, you could try maple syrup instead of honey. I’m sure it would be delicious!
Cinnamon
Cinnamon adds a little something extra to this recipe. I like how the cinnamon adds some warmth
Vanilla
Vanilla makes this cinnamon honey butter almost taste like frosting. It’s so good!

How to Make Cinnamon Honey Butter
Making this cinnamon honey butter is not hard, but it does require a lot of mixing. I recommend using a hand mixer or a stand mixer for this recipe, or you’ll end up with extremely tired arms.

Step 1: Whip the Butter
Whip room-temperature butter for about 3 minutes, until it is light and fluffy. It should become paler in color and end up swirled around your bowl. Scrape down the butter from the sides of the bowl if your stand mixer has trouble reaching it.
Step 2: Add the Honey and Whip Again
Add the honey and whip again until fully combined. It should take about 30 seconds to a minute to fully incorporate.

Step 3: Add the Cinnamon and Vanilla and Whip Again
Add the cinnamon and vanilla and whip again for about a minute. Your butter should be evenly speckled with the cinnamon. You may want to scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure that everything is mixed properly.
By mixing three different times, you’re left with the lightest, fluffiest butter ever!
Step 4: Enjoy!
